Braintree Writers Group

We are a friendly and informal group that have been meeting up for over twelve years.  We meet fortnightly at a local pub in Braintree, Essex.

We rarely structure topics but encourage members to bring along any piece of work they would like to share.  Our members are male and female and  cover a range of ages and occupations.  Therefore we produce a wide variety of work, poetry, plays, short prose, long prose and what we affectionately call 'Schuberts' - unfinished pieces!

New members are always welcome - for more information please get in touch via the contact us page.

We hope you will enjoy reading the pieces on this site, however, please note that copyright remains with the author and nothing can be taken, copied or reproduced in any way without the authors permission.  Please use the contact us page if you are interested in using any work from this site.
